AcuGlobe is one of eight Acumman portals. It performs a number of static and dynamic functions. Like all Acumman portals it is inextricably linked to all others.

AcuGlobe is essentially the organisations public website and its functions are vital to the entire Acumman business process.

Static functions

  • Our Services - Communicates to the world the organisations service provision.
  • Our People - Provides an overview of the organisations people.
  • Products - Explains the organisations products.
  • Our Policies – Communicates our vision, mission and which leads to company policies.

Dynamic functions

  • Request a quote wizard – This function provides a platform for the pertinent information the organisation requires to begin a client relationship and with an emphasis on equipment and installation sales. The data entered into the Request for quote section of AcuGlobe permeates to other Acumman portals which perform other functions. The information is initially transferred to AcuSale which is used for producing quotation proposals.

    The data may be entered by the client or an organisation representative who creates the client record, namely the Acumman Client SmartCard.
  • Request a service wizard – Provides a platform for the pertinent information the organisation requires to begin a client relationship in the area of breakdown repairs and routine maintenance functions which the organisation performs in the field.

    The data entered into the request for service section of AcuGlobe is generally entered by the client then permeates to other Acumman portals which perform other functions. The information is initially transferred to AcuServ and will eventually find its way to other critical portals within Acumman which perform many different functions and work tasks.

    The data may be entered by the client or an organisation representative who creates the client record, namely Acumman Client SmartCard.
  • Publications and Testimonials – This is the AcuGlobe online magazine which allows potential clients and the general public to scroll through to obtain evidence of the organisations knowledge and skills from past and current clients. This AcuGlobe magazine has a dual purpose in that it also acts as a customer specific quotation booklet which details specifications and other pertinent information following an evaluation of client requirements for the purpose of a quotation proposal.
  • Employment Opportunities – Displays the organisations vacant positions and is a market place where prospective employees can apply for jobs on offer.
  • Employment Application Form wizard - This function provides a platform for the pertinent information the organisation requires to begin an employee relationship. The data entered into the AcuGlobe Employment Application permeates to other Acumman portals which perform other functions. The prospective employee’s information is initially transferred to AcuParm another of Acumman’s eight portals and which is used for human resource and company asset management. If the employment application is a success for the applicant then the data will be seamlessly transferred to other critical portals of Acumman.
